I went to see Weathering with You yesterday.
I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed Your Name. It has the same feel to it: both starts off light-hearted, then gets deeper towards the middle-end, and ends with a happy ending. Because if you know this director, he actually doesn't usually make happy endings, it's something rare, which I think adds even more feelings to it (knowing that they usually don't end happily).
This movie also touched me more than Your Name because there's the part at the end that is reminiscent of people who don't want to continue living, something I've struggled with too. So that really touched me.
Also the reason he runs away, I think can touch a lot of people too.
Also, the friend I went to see it with saw it once before me, so they saw it twice! So I think it's safe to say it's pretty good. (I think I'm going to be like my friend, and go see it a second time too. )
If you liked Your Name,<
